Parenting

I am a parent for almost 14 years now. I’ve had the joys and frustrations (and yes, I  still have!) of being a mom of three passionate kids.

Parenting is never an easy job. It is something that can never be perfected. It is always evolving, always changing. Just when you thought you got the hang of it, then your children graduate to a whole new level: from babies to toddlers, from children to pre teens, from teens to young adults. It is always challenging!

Well, don’t despair. Let us learn from each other. I hope that this page can show you the many things I have learned throughout the years, from experts through parenting seminars, to key learnings from personal experiences from other families, friends, even from my own.

Let us not give up learning to “train a child in the way that he should go, so when he grows old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

We can continue to build off from our foundation of knowledge and skills and make easier and efficient our natural parenting instincts.

Let us continue to support each other and spur each other on. Be encouraged. Don’t give up. We have generations of children to teach.

“And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.

You shall teach them diligently to your children,

and shall talk of them when you sit in your house,

and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down,

and when you rise.”

– Deuteronomy 6:6-7

“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger,

but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”

– Ephesians 6:4
